Student specific accommodation
A number of private providers have developed student-specific accommodation adjacent to campus. One offers self-catering accommodation in five-bedroom apartments, the other provides students with single study bedrooms and the choice of full catering, partial catering or self-catering options.
Renting options
Rental accommodation should only be arranged one you have arrived in Queensland, to allow you to inspect properties, meet house-mates (for shared houses and units). This is because once you sign a tenancy agreement it is VERY DIFFICULT to get out of it. Please refer to Rental Accommodation Information to read about steps involved in renting accommodation.
Please note: the School of Nursing advises students not to organise accommodation until they have been advised of their teaching hospital placement. Not all students will receive their first choice and this may be a factor to consider when selecting appropriate accommodation.
